TCSO kicks off its season on Sunday, September 8th with the last of our three 2023 Rising Talents Young Artists Concerto Competition winners, Hayden Baker. Baker will play the first movement of Mendelsohn’s violin concerto. On the same bill TCSO will tackle Beethoven’s revolutionary 3rd Symphony, the Eroica, which transformed the dimensions and character of symphonic work ushering in the modern meaning of the word “symphony.”

On October 27th TCSO invites you to celebrate Halloween with Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade and the premiere of our own John Meurer’s Deuces, Treys, and One-Eyed Jacks: A Cowboy Symphony. The holiday season will bring two performances of seasonal favorites: the first at the St. Louis Art Museum on December 20th and the second back home at Principia’s Ridgway Auditorium on the 22nd.

In 2025 we will present two concerts. The first, on April 6th, will feature TCSO harpist Colleen Stumbo playing Debussy’s Dances for Harp and String Orchestra. On June 1st TCSO welcomes the return of regular guest Erin Schreiber as the featured soloist in Tchaikovsky’s beloved violin concerto.
