Join TCSO for our season finale as we welcome returning guest Erin Schreiber, who will be the featured soloist in a performance of Camille Saint-Saëns effervescent Introduction et Rondo capriccioso. Contrasting the playful French gem we explore the artistic life in Richard Strauss’s epic tone poem Death and Transfiguration, and in the “Dance of the Furies” from Christoph Willibald Gluck’s Orphée et Eurydice. Finally we journey southwest to the Mexican border in John Meurer’s new work “The Treasure of Montezuma.” In order to work with our gracious hosts and generous soloists all programs are subject to change.
